A Call To Create is led by founder Jessica Drummond, with a growing team of talented Artists trained to capture people in delightfully creative ways. Depending on your event size, location and vision, you may work directly with Jessica or one of our Team Artists — either way, you're getting the same heartfelt, high-quality experience that embodies our combined love for connection and creation of meaningful keepsakes.

How Does It Work?
We show up in plenty of time to set up prior to our designated “go” time with all of our supplies. You just provide space for a 6 foot table, a couple of chairs, and access to wifi and electricity. Once we get started, your guests are welcome to approach our table. They can stay to chat and watch as the sketching takes place OR they can snap a picture with our assistant and head back to the event/party. Each portrait is packaged up after completion, embossed with our logo or your customized logo (add-on option) and can be picked up throughout the night by your guests. Anything not picked up will be given to the host of the party to be distributed. For guest count packages, what is not completed at the event during the allotted time will be completed in studio and mailed to the client in the weeks following the event.
How long does each illustration take?
Typically we are able to illustrate 25 people within an hour of time. We generally stick with 2 people per illustration, so around 3-5 minutes per couple. Sketching singles or couples allows us ample time to complete as many portraits as possible for your guests. Obviously, we happy to accommodate more guests into an illustration, however, these take more time.
What makes up the actual product?
Each portrait is completed on 5x7 sized card stock using pencil, pen, and markers. They’re embossed with our Logo (or your custom one, should you select that add on), sealed up and placed out for display and pick-up.
What kind of events do you do?
Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Baby/Bridal/Couples Showers, Birthday parties, corporate events/parties, open houses, fundraisers/galas.. any other ideas that you have or can dream up--let’s chat!
Do you travel?
Yes, however, travel fees may apply for events outside of the artist’s “home base” location. We are happy to quote those if that is the case!
What does pricing look like?
Live illustration packages start at $2,400, with add-ons available for larger events, extended hours, custom branding, or a fully custom experience with Jessica, the Founding Artist. Every event is unique, so we'll send a personalized pricing guide after you reach out — We have options to work with all types of budgets, so it never hurts to inquire. We love working with and serving people well, so simply complete the inquiry form, input your anticipated budget (even if it doesn’t align with where pricing traditionally starts) and we'll take it from there!
